My academic research examines Indigenous activism, media strategy, and social movements in the twentieth-century United States. My dissertation analyzes how Native organizers built coalitions and shaped public narratives in the years leading up to the Red Power movement.

The base of my work is extensive archival research, supported by competitive fellowships and funded research travel. I have presented this research at academic conferences and incorporated it into public-facing scholarship and teaching.
